Ghanaian Musician Kwesi Arthur and socialite Efia Odo have engaged in a public dispute on social media, revealing the deterioration of their previously close friendship.

The conflict started as a result of Efia Odo discussing their relationship during a podcast, where she admitted that while they were never romantically involved, she no longer supports Kwesi Arthur due to unresolved issues between them. This revelation appeared to have angered Kwesi Arthur, who then took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his frustration.

In a series of posts, Kwesi Arthur accused Efia Odo of exploiting his name for attention, stating, “I’ve been silent for too long. It’s disheartening to see so many people oblivious to someone constantly using my name for clout, a storyline, and attention with allegations and scenarios.”

He went on to claim that Efia Odo and her team have been using his name as part of their promotional strategies, adding, “You, your team, and networks only roll out your songs or shows with my name attached as a marketing strategy. Each month or week, it’s a different storyline and agenda. Why has nobody caught on by now?”

Kwesi Arthur’s late-night posts quickly gained attention, prompting a swift response from Efia Odo. She criticized him for reacting without fully understanding the context of the podcast, saying, “Dumbass ain’t even watch the show now you’re looking goofy exposing yourself. Feeling guilty much?”

In a subsequent post, Efia Odo urged Kwesi Arthur to watch the entire podcast before drawing conclusions from social media snippets. “You no watch the thing but ranting cuz of bits and pieces you saw on social media. You gotta be smarter than that. God has saved me cuz if not!!!!!! Peace be unto you,” she added.
