Daniel Owusu Koranteng, once an associate of the late investigative journalist Ahmed Suale at Tiger Eye PI, now faces a murder charge in connection with Suale’s death. Authorities allege that Koranteng caused Suale’s death through unlawful harm. According to case details, he was reportedly near Suale’s Madina residence before and during the shooting.
Reports further indicate that he left Madina for his home in Amasaman at around 11 p.m. on the night in question. Authorities claim that he evaded police summons and fled to the United Kingdom in 2019. However, after being monitored by police, Koranteng was arrested upon his return to Ghana on March 15, 2025.
Investigators also suggest that Suale had identified Koranteng as the person responsible for selling his pictures to Kennedy Agyapong—a claim that Koranteng denies. On Wednesday, he was arraigned at the Madina District Court and remanded into custody, with the case now adjourned until April 1.
