The president of Ghana, His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo before voted into power assured Ghanaians that he was going to make sure that the Ghana economy which he took over from the NDC administration will be better off as compared to what we witnessed under former President John Dramatic Mahama’s regime.
Asked about how he was going to achieve this, the president came with a slogan “the battle is the lords”
Over the weekend, President was a special a guest at the sending off ceremony for Rev.Dr. Seth kissi, outgoing chairperson of Akyem Abuakwa presbytery of the presbyterian church of Ghana in kyebi in the Eastern region.
During his speech, the president emphasized on the issue of the economy and in so doing admitted that things are really difficult.
He urged the congregants who were present at the time to pray for him and his appointees so they can fix the economy as promised earlier.
He repeated his mantra “the battle is the lords” as he said this time that “the battle still remains the lords”
Many Ghanaians believe president Akuffo-Addo and the NPP has failed to deliver.
“Pray for me and the people I have appointed to various positions with responsibilities that we will continue to exercise our responsibilities with humility and integrity.
“Pray for Ghana that it remains united in peace and continues to thrive for progress and prosperity. I continue to abide in faith in the Almighty God to help advance the fortunes of our nation accompanied by appropriate policies, determination, and hardwork on our part,” Akufo-Addo stressed.
