Veteran Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze known in movies as Aki, from Aki and Fame has sent a warning to people who come directly to his messenger.he took to Instagram to warn those who slide directly into his messages(DM) and beg him for money to put an end to such an embarrassing behavior.
The 45-year-old Nigerian superstar,made this known in a live video session on Instagram.
Expressing his anger on the app, the actor said people have turned his DM in
to banking industry. Whereas they feel it is a place to secure money and all that.
According to the actor, he is not happy about how he always opens his DM and find words like, “Bros”, “oga”, and all sort of titles all in the name of begging for money.
He added that people are all over him as if he do not a have a responsibility to take care of.
‘The way you people are begging is as if we don’t have responsibilities. If I start sharing the money like that, it will finish. Imagine someone begging me for $35,000, approximately N27 million. Another one was asking me for $12,000 he wants to open a shop.
“You guys have made it look like we packed this money somewhere and it is a must that we cater for your needs. No! It is not a must. This economic crunch is biting harder on everybody.”
