A new cinematic thriller, NINE, featuring a stellar cast from Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, and the United States, is set to premiere at Silverbird and Mall cinemas on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Written by Briana Cole and Erica Joy, NINE delves into the mystery of a series of eerie murders targeting young women during a full Ghanaian moon. The gripping plot follows a forensic expert and an American homicide detective as they team up to solve these ritualistic crimes.

Haunted by the loss of his daughter, the U.S. detective’s relentless pursuit of her killer leads him to Africa, where he collaborates with a group of assassins to uncover a chilling connection between witchcraft and the murders.

The movie is directed and produced by Ghanaian filmmaker Chris Attoh, who described the project as an opportunity to innovate within the industry. “We are not only looking at the success of the film but we are also hoping that it will be a platform for industry stakeholders to learn and grow collectively,” he said.
