Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has died after a brief illness.
He passed away on Saturday, May 31, at the Bank Hospital in Accra, party sources have confirmed.

Ade Coker was a familiar voice in Ghanaian politics, widely respected for his candid commentary on national and political matters.
His leadership within the NDC spanned more than a decade, having first been elected as Greater Accra Regional Chairman in 2009. He served three consecutive terms before losing his re-election bid in 2022 to Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the current regional chairman.
