It is not yet clear when the incident occurred. Colleague journalist and friend to Kofi, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady disclosed this information in a Facebook post on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Sharing the devastating news, she prayed for God’s healing for the Chief Executive Officer of Kofi TV.
Afia Pokuaa wrote: “Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. Kofi Adomah I have been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye. May the Lord work overtime on you.”
In her post, Afia claimed that Kofi had been shot in the eye. However, after a Facebook user questioned the veracity of her claim, Afia Pokuaa later clarified in the comment section saying; “No, apparently he was hit but bless God he is recovering well by God’s grace.”
Kofi Adomah on his Facebook page on January 14, 2025 posted: “It is well with my soul” without shar ing much details of what may have happened to him.
Ghanaians have since wished Kofi a speedy recovery and God’s protection in the comment section of Afia Pokua’s post on Facebook.
