Ghana’s 4×100m relay team has missed out on a place in the men’s final at the Paris Olympics.

The team, consisting of Abdul Rasheed Saminu, Benjamin Azamati, Ibrahim Fuseini, and Joseph Paul Amoah, recorded a time of 38.62s in Heat 2. However, they were disqualified due to an infringement during the baton exchange.

This makes it a disappointment because they encountered the same fate in the previous Olympics.

Their time of 38.62s is their slowest in recent years, compared to their previous marks of 38.07s, 38.08s, and 38.29s.
China won the heat with a time of 38.24s, followed by France at 38.34s and Canada at 38.39s, all securing spots in the final.
